'06 Beaver Monterey IV vs. '06 Monaco Windsor

Am looking at both '06 Beaver Monterey and an '06 Monaco Windsor that are similarly priced and similar miles. I realize that while they have many similarities, they are different beasts - different engines, chassis', there are no clear advantages that jump out. Any feedback greatly appreciated!

Both may be on the same Roadmaster Chassis. I'm not familiar where those coaches are on the food chain. The difference will be in the house. The Beaver will have better cabinetry. Monaco also made Beaver at that point so there probably isn't much difference.

Like gemert, I doubt if there were really all that many differences in that model year. Monaco was stamping out the same coach under Monaco, Beaver, and Holiday Rambler brand names with only tiny differences. I'm not sure if the Monterey was viewed as being a sister to the Windsor or a slightly lesser brand, but it was probably pretty close in price and features.

Here is the '06 Windsor brochure. Maybe you can find a Monterey brochure to compare.

The brochures may not always be accurate. Our 06 Windsor has a 23000 pound rear axle rather than a 20000 pound axle. You may want to compare the CCC of both units. You might want to call Monaco with the vin numbers and get the build sheets e-mailed to you.
