06 Sanicon Bypass

I read about the bypass for gray water on the Sanicon and I am wondering if our 2006 version would have that available and how does one know if it is working. When we are at one location for a month I have just figured we would have to hook up the regular 3" hose.

There is a small clear tube that is attached to the sanicon large rubber hose where it goes in to the macerator box. The clear tube goes into a fitting on the small hose which allows gray water to pass directly into the small hose. Just open the gray valve on your coach and the liquids will by pass the macerator box and go directly into the small hose. You should be able to see the small clear hose you might need a flash light depending on where your box is mounted. If by chance you do not have a bypass you can buy them for under 10 bucks.

Hi conmoto,
Go to RV Sani-Con System for the service manual. On page 12 there is an exploded view of the parts. The bypass hose is #20. This is what I have. I stay in one place for months at a time. When the black tank gets to 3/4 full, I close the grey valve. When the black tank is full, for me, so is the grey tank. If your SaniCon does not have the grey water bypass there is no "official" way to add it.

Thanks for the help. It looks like we have the bypass and I will use it this week. We are learning new things about this rig all the time and this community really helps!
