A few years ago we met with a Ford representative at the Winnebago GNR. Several people there were claiming similar mileage. It didn't sound reasonable so I posed the question to the rep. His response was "anyone who claims to be getting double digit mileage needs to recheck their math".

He probably took a trip and got 7 mpg there and 7 mpg back.
That makes 14 mpg doesn't it?

I just calculated the mileage on my 2013 Ford Eco-boost V6 and I only average 13.33 miles per gallon highway and city.
Maybe if I threw another 20,000 lbs in the box, I might get to 15 mpg. Then I can sell it to someone with a smile and a handshake.

I don't understand what all the fuss is about. I know for a fact we average 15 mpgs.....
That's miles per gallons. plural. I bet the guy was not really lying, you just misunderstood exactly what he said. ie......I did not have sex with that woman.

Come on guys. Be nice to the man that is trying to sell his MH. He must be a politician.
I get 15 MPG out of my MH all the time. That is every time I am sleeping and dreaming.
When I am driving it, I get 7 to 8 MPG.

My TOAD uses no gas at all when behind my motorhome. It's known as drafting. Beat that...

Walk away... lord knows what else he's lying about. 32-36ft gasses, Ford or GM, top out at around 8mpg. Mine gets 6.9 to 7.2 towing 3450# car.

7 to 8 mpg whether towing the Jeep Wrangler or not. A lot depends on terrain and if using AC. We have a V-10 in a Damon Challenger 38ft.
