1986 Komfort Speedometer

Looking for advice on why my speedometer after getting above 15mph just spin completely in circles

1986 Komfort 30'
On a P30 Chassis

My guess is that there's a problem with the speedo cable.

I didn't know if it would be the cable or sensor. Anyone familiar this? I read somewhere that the cable ,ay go inside the transmission.
