1992 Damon challenger brake problems. Help!!

Hi all

First post!
I'm mark.
I have a 1992 Damon challenger class A pusher
Has a 5.9 cummins 6bta
I have an issue with the brakes!!!
Ok so start from the beginning.

Bought it and had been in storage for some time
Runs great. Brakes needed attention.
We Transported it on an artic lorry low loader.
Then I start going through it.
Fan belt was completely wrong size so Squeeked all the time - replaced.
Brake pedal wouldn't return to up position
Power steering works fine but stops working when the brakes are pressed.
I've bled all brake lines and replaced with dot 4
I've cleaned out full power steering fluid and vacuumed the lines dry then refilled and bled system TWICE!!
I've removed hydromax unit and stripped and cleaned.

Now I still have the same issue.
Power steering works ok (can go from lock to lock with one finger)
Brakes seem to work ok (seem to feel like it brakes equal)
But if I press the brakes down then I completely lose power steering.
The hydromax pump runs and dash (brake) light illuminates but still makes no difference.
Now I don't want to just buy parts for the hell of it.
I'm stuck as to whether it's the hydromax unit. The power steering unit. Or just the pump that's knackered?!?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Many thanks.
