1993 Winnebago Brave Brake Pedal Resistance
I have a 27RC Brave on a Chevy P30 chasis. Since purchasing the Brave in March of 2014 it has driven few miles but I have done the following repairs related to the brakes...
Replaced Master Cylinder... Replaced both rear brake cans and replaced rear differential fluid. Replaced Power Extender...
A couple of years ago when I initially replaced the master brake cylinder the pedal had decent resistance. Then a few months ago the power extender needed replacing and then it was discovered the the brake cans and the rear differential needed servicing.
I went to a brake service place which I think does good work and the brakes definitely grab but the pedal resistance is way off. The brakes themselves have been inspected and are of good quality and there are no brake lines leaking.
One other problem is the brake idiot light is now on constantly and the brake people said it might be a sensor.
Need to get the brake idiot light ferreted out and would like to have decent back pressure on the brake pedal.
Any experience would be helpful. I am trying to find a repair shop that I can trust in Clearwater, FL area I can trust. I can tell you who not to go to in this area... Thanks.
