1994 Fleetwood Southwind Allison Transmission

I have a '94 Fleetwood Southwind with a 230 hp Cummings diesel (pusher) with a 6-speed Allison Transmission on the Oshkosh frame.

The RV runs great, however the gearing ratio is rather quick from 2-3rd, and 3-4th gear, not really an issue for me just wondering if this normal.

I've owned since last summer, haven't thought about it much but would a service be in order? It really doesn't bother me but want to take care of the RV, thanks

You are most likely feeling the Torque converter lock - which makes it feel kinda wonky. Listen/feel sometime when you're in a position to accelerate almost full throttle while climbing a hill from a stop..

Perhaps your TV cable needs adjustment. Read all about at Cumminsforum.com. Use the search feature. I am motorboat on there. BTW, TV means throttle valve.
