Question 1995 Cobra Monterey

As some of you know, I'm on the hunt for my first class A. With not a lot of $$$, I'm relegated to an older coach. I found a 1995 Monterey for short $$$. It is in impeccable shape with almost everything brand new, including new roof & tires! 36k mileage Asking $14500. Should I be aware of anything in particular? I've never heard of this brand. Thanks!

Well a quick look at NADA used RV value listing does not show a Cobra manufacturer.

Monterey was one of three models made by Beaver in 1995 per the lists.

Beaver had a pretty good reputation after purchase by Monaco. I do not know the pre Monaco situation.

To be safe crawl under the coach and start looking for rust. Rust is NOT your friend. Check the brakes, rotors and pads. Check the Generator and see how many hours are on it. Check the furnace and hot water heater if working or not. Check all a/c units for cooling. Check the fresh water tank and does it work. When was the last time it was used and santitized. Check the oil to see if you see water drops on the dipstick. See if owner has maintanence records. Do all service manual come with unit? Check the tire dates on all tires. There is a DOT code on the tires. Anything over 5 years old should changed. Check the rear shocks, see any leaks?
Just a few things to be checked.
Hope this helps

Price sounds high for any 1995 gasser class A.
