1997 bounder engine batter dead

the battery on my 97 bounder is low and will not start the engine without a jump, i notice that i hear a clicking noise in the engine compartment in the front right hand corner coming from the solenoid located behind a circuit board. I replaced the solenoid about a year ago . I cant figure out why this clicking noise, the key is off and the battery is to low to start the engine, however when i jump the engine and it starts that clicking noise goes away , any sugestions ?

thanks , dave

Take your battery out and get it tested.

Not only get your battery tested but clean the battery cables. A quick test is to turn on the head lights and have someone hit the starter. If the lights go out then it may be the battery cables need to be cleaned. Also be sure you check the specific gravity of each cell when you test the battery. A load test will not tell if you have a bad cell. make sure battery is fully charged. Chances are if it starts with a jump then your battery could be bad.

The clicking of the relay could be because voltage is low enough that the electromagnet in the relay doesn't have the strength to overcome the spring holding the contacts apart. I wouldn't worry about it until you've done the suggested actions above and made sure your battery and connections are good.
