Unhappy 1997 pace arrow won't start

Everything has been working fine on the motorhome until yesterday when it wouldn't start. Batteries are charged, crawled under and cleaned ground connection. Replaced three fuses no juice to dash or headlights. Generator and house lights work. When I turn the ignition key cylinder feels fine but absolutely nothing happens. Any ideas?

What chassis do you have? My first guess would be the starter solenoid but more info will get you better answers.

Like Elf111 and fixintodoit said and related to the salesman switch or the neutral safety switch could need adjusting.

BTW~ What do you mean by, turn the key and cylinder feels fine?

I do not know enough about your unit to help you. One generic question that I have is do you have seperate house and chassis batteries. If so your problem is in the Chassis battery area. LIghts should come on no matter what if you have power to your chassis battery and they have a good fuse. The key will not affect them. If you have seperate chassis batteries make sure they are charged clean connections on both ends etc. Do you have a chassis battery disconnect is that switch working. Check voltage on each side of the switch to ground. If switch is on should have 12v each side. This should not be a hard problem to find. It is basically a chassis battery issue.

Ford 460 chassis. Has two deep cycle 6 V batteries for the home and 12 V for the chassis All connections are new and clean batteries are charged and new, when you turn Each disconnect off and you can hear it click at the engine compartment. But I will check to make sure they both have 12 V going through them

You may also have a safety switch on levelers or slides that will prevent you from starting. Our big foot levelers have to be fully retracted before you can start the engine.
