1998 American Eagle rpm not working

Our 1998 American Eagle rpm gauge isn't working. Can't locate the point of origin. Does anyone know where I can find a schematic diagram to the point of origin & a break down on the throttle? Thanks so much!!

Email Fleetwood and ask for schematic. They will email you info for all 12V/120V wiring & plumbing if asked also.

Golden arches,
FYI the gauge you speak of is called the tachometer.

If it's a diesel, It could be running off the alternator.

Is your engine charging system working ?

Most run from the ecm if the engine and trans are computer controlled

The engine computer. ECU engine control unit, ecm engine control module, pcm power control module. Different name for the same part. Older diesels pre engine controlled by a computer got its rpm reading off of the alternator. Post computer gets the Rpm readings front the crank sensor sent to the ecm then to the gauge. If yours is post ecm connect a scan tool to the obd on board diagnostic connector and see if you get a tac reading, if you do the problem is between the computer and the gauge
