1998 Dolphin 5350 front leaf spring

Wondering if anyone knows where to find a front leaf spring for a 1998 Dolphin Class A motorhome? We had a safety inspection done and we're told that the leaf spring was broken and it's not a left or right front leaf spring. Its a unique one that runs along the whole front of the coach, thus no leaning to the left or right. I've been looking and calling places that I find online and no luck yet so I thought I would join and try here. Thanks for any input!

Look for a truck spring/brake works. If they cannot order the correct spring for you, they'll be able to manufacture one for you. I started dealing with places like this 55 years ago when I was working as a truck mechanic and still buy suspension and brake parts from a similar place close to where I live. They also can do heavy duty alignments and will be the place of choice for air brake parts as well as lights and power plugs and wires for the toad/RV hookup.

Workhorse W series chassis? That's your front swaybar. Search here at irv2.com, you'll find info about it.

Duh, you said 1998. That was a couple years before the W series.

Question remains. What chassis?

Need more info.... it may be a Hellwig helper spring if its a P30/32 and it looks like a leaf spring mounted to the crossmember and each end attaches to a lower control arm.

Thank you for the replies, I am learning myself and found out its a Chevrolet P30 from the vin#. I think I'll go take a picture of the spring if I can and get the dimensions today. From what I can see online it will be a couple hundred bucks and then the labor will hurt, I'm sure.

Got a picture of what we're looking at and have a game plan to do it ourselves. Hoping after we take the spring off we can take it to a place close by and see if they can replace just the bottom broken leaf and not have to buy a whole new spring. Sorry for the upside down picture, it wouldn't let me change it :/.

Yep...definitely a Hellwig helper spring. I'm not sure if they're still being made or not, if you can't get it repaired , replacement coil springs would be the best option to restore ride height and maintain a consistent alignment.
