1998 Georgie Boy Swinger Battery stolen

Someone stole the battery and mounting tray along with all the brackets. I bought the bracket and tray that should be for this chassis according to the VIN, but there are no mounting holes that I can match up. There is a square post jutting out the front of the chassis and I'm thinking that there is some bracket that clamps to that post. If anybody has one of these and could take a picture from top and bottom and email it to me, I'd really appreciate it.

Hello and We are glad to have you join us here and we look forward to reading of your adventures and experiences. I am sure you will enjoy our website and forums. Good luck, stay safe and keep us posted.
Manufacturer may not be using the exact same slid out and tray as originally and they have sent you what they are using now. You may have to modify and fabricate new supports or simply drill new mounting holes for the new assembly.

Sorry to hear that someone would stoop so low and steal your batteries. I can take photos of mine tomorrow if you'd like but I don't know if it is the same as a 1998 Swinger.
Mine are in front engine compartment, ahead of the radiator and on passenger side.

Battery

I have one battery for the engine in the engine compartment on the passenger side and two under the entry door steps for the house lights. I have a 2" square post about 6" long sticking out of the frame toward the front of the vehicle which I'm sure the battery must sit on but it has no bolt holes in it so I don't know what kind of attachment system they used. If yours is the same, a picture from the bottom side would be very helpful.

Thanks,

Gene

Hi Gene,

Not the same as my 06 Cruise Master. My batteries are ALL in the front engine compartment and under the stairs is a storage compartment.
