If you go down to the National Forum on this site you'll find a "sticky" for National parts. You might also find someone with an owner's manual they could copy and send you if you ask. The people on there will also be able to answer questions about your particular model and year. National built a good coach so you chose well. Many manufacturers went out of business over the last 5 years but the good news is most if not all parts are still available.

National made a fine coach. Pretty much everything other than body panels are available in the aftermarket and are 'off the shelf' type items. Even headlights and taillights come from other production vehicles.

There is a company in Texas (I think) that bought the body panel molds and will make you replacements to order. After I bought my Dolphin, and researched it, I found that National being out of business is pretty much no problem.

There is a link in the National forums to a place that has lots of manuals and other documentation for download. National out of business? No problem! You made a fine choice, I hope you have many years of service from your Tradewinds.

The National RV.org should resolve most issues.

drrussell,

Congratulations on your purchase. As already stated, National made a top quality coach.

There is a National Owners Forum here on iRV2 as well as a National Yahoo Group where you can get lots of help.

Where do you live? There are National Owners FMCA Chapters all around the country. I highly recommend joining the one nearest your home base. Not only are they a great source of information on National Coaches, but a nicer bunch of folks you couldn't find!

In California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah and New Mexico is The Dolphins. The Dolphins is the original National RV Owners Chapter. You can find The Dolphins and information about the other NRV clubs on their website. The Dolphins

Happy Trails!

Darryl

I have a 'Tropi Cal' 37' made by National, Another member, also has one,
but no 'Manual', which I have. I am going to make him a copy and I could
easily make two. So if you don't find another source, let me know ASAP and
if you do, also let me know where you found it. gene

As I reread your post, it seems like you're asking for something that doesn't exist, "service manual parts book". The owner's manual is just a manual that takes you through the various systems and has nothing in the way of parts. The closest thing to a service manual would be from Caterpillar and Allison. Those two books would be probably available from the manufacturer.

As stated, I have a 2000 Tropi Cal 'Owners Manual', not a Service or
Parts Manual. Service or parts manuals are pretty much individual
suppliers manuals, as Domestic for Furnaces, Ford for their part,
etc. After these, not much need for the camper 'shell'. I would like
to see and haven't is a complete wiring diagram for each individual
unit to be included to buyer, but understand why it's not included.
Factory may not have any standard, and cost to do one for each
unit would just be an extra that in the end would not benefit them
any. ( by the way, National had a file that gave individual manuals
for everything in my RV, except I'm still trying to figure out sound
system.)

As others have said, there is no service manual or parts book. I can't think of anything I would need for my '99 that I couldn't get just about anywhere. For 1 exception, body parts. These are available from: Ortega Manufacturing Inc. | Del Craft Plastics | National RV ....and hopefully you'll never need them.

Jump on over to the National RV Forum when you have any questions specific to your Tradewinds.

John...

I've scanned a good number of the manuals from my 1999 Tradewinds and posted them here https://skydrive.live.com/?cid=ae67f...2766057%212101 you'll find a owners manual in the lot.

Hello All. I have recently purchased a National Sea Breeze and am looking for a wiring schematic or at least a 12V coach distribution panel fuse location guide. I suddenly lost 12v to my thermostat and can not ID the fuse to that circuit. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ajydog, Search here or Google RV Custom Products. Your BCC is in the compartment just in front of the steps. It should have a diagram on the plastic cover.

What year and model Breeze did you get?

Or even better, get rid of that thermostat with the huge temperature swings and put a couple of digital ones in. Search here for digital thermostat. You can get them for about $20 at Walmart.
