1998 Triple E Empress Third Brake Light

Hi Folks,
Is there anybody out there who has changed bulbs or the 3rd brake light itself who can tell me how to get access. It has a plastic strip around the outside that I would hate to break and not be able to find a replacement. So any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Bill

A belated welcome to iRV2.
I'm not sure about your , access for a bulb change, but if the bulb doesn't come out from the rear; Can you see the back end of the housing from the engine door ?; then the lens has to come off somehow.

I just had the RV serviced and they could not see any access from the rear, so I think it must come out the back.. I may try heating the plastic strip on the back very slightly to soften any possible double sided tape and see if that works. First time with a diesel pusher..Had a class C Before.

Thanks!

Could you post a picture of your light ?
Triple EEE ,is still in business, maybe a phone call to their offices in Winkler Man. would get you some help. Lost track of the # when I sold my EEE, 5er., at least they may be able to name the light's supplier , in case you break something.
