friendlyrv,
You might want to check in the Fleetwood section for an answer. That is the manufacturer of that coach, the people on that section can give you an informative answer to your question.

Solid coach. Spartan MM Chassis with Independent Front Suspension.

ISC 8.3 liter engine, Allison 3060 six speed transmission, fiberglass roof.

It basically will come down to how well the coach was looked after.

Factory support from American and Spartan has been excellent in my experience.

The American Dream is a very well built coach. It's equipped with a 330hp Cummins ISC and a Spartan Mountain Master chassis.

In 1999 it was a top dog MH. It can last a long time and will only be dated by design tastes. I think 1999 gold fixtures were 'the thing'. But that is cosmetic. The coach will be more solid than other coaches from 1999.

We have a 2000 American Eagle with 2 slides. We love it! Couple of high dollar things to check; the front ball joints are a know weakness and the boots split, replaced ours in 2011, and they need replacing again. Also that engine has a history of warped/cracked exhaust manifold. Also on my repair list this year. We have 103,000 miles on our coach.
Otherwise we really haven't had any real major issues. We're the 2nd owners and we bought it December 2009. Lived in it full time for 3 years.

Dreams are great coaches. AC stopped making them for a number of years, and just brought them back.
