1999 Damon Escaper aisle lights fuses

Hi all.
I have a 1999 damon escaper 3980. I blue a fuse while messing with satellite receiver. Now my satelite not working and aisle lights gone too.

fuses in bedroom are all fine and fuses in control box in by Gennys all seem fine with multi Meyer.

Is there fuse box somewhere else.

Thanks
ken

While I have a 2004 Damon Escaper and my 12v fuse panel is directly above my shore power breaker panel, I'm guessing yours is different (based on you're asking). It does seem reasonable, however, that your 12v fuses should be in somewhat the same area as your breaker panel. Also, to me, it seems odd that aisle lights and roof-top satellite dish would be on the same fuse.

As you may know, Damon made some wildly different versions. Maybe something above will spark a thought. I wish I could help more. When you find your gremlin, please post back so that someone in the future may be helped. We Damon guys have to stick together.

Edit added: Oops... I just reread your post. My assumption was that you were referring to the roof-top dish which is 12v. In fact, you were messing with the receiver... which should be 110v shore power. The aisle lights are 12 volt. So... I'm even more confused than I was. :(

Hi,
Thanks for response. The previous owner tapped into my satellite. I am in Ireland and have a 12v receiver, sat and tv. So they must have put it in line with these. Its tapped off a light blue color wire but the last thing I want to do is chase that wire back somewhere but I may have to.

I'll keep looking and keep you posted.

So... here's a thought... On my rig, the chassis fuses are in a compartment right under the floorboard of the driver, accessible from a door on the outside. It's POSSIBLE that the aisle lights (and receiver?) are on one of those chassis fuses as there is an aisle light switch on the dash. Again, on my rig, the receiver is up front and, if yours is too, the chassis fuse block makes sense. Obviously, I'm just taking guesses but I'd say it's worth a look.
