1999 Foretravel

Looking at purchasing a 1999 Foretravel U320 40 foot coach. Anyone have comments, suggestions or ideas regarding the Foretravel. The coach has been taken to the factory, had the 97 point inspection done, great shape as far as I have been told. Plan on flying down to look at it, maybe drive it home. I am a new purchaser.

Do you have a list of the 97 point inspection?
Or know what is included in it?
Or is it like. checked wipers, fluid levels, air pressure in tires, windshield washer etc.

MCMOJO,
We own a '97 U 320 40' and it is our 2nd F/T. If we didn't like the first one we would have gone with something else. Do we have things break and wear out? Yes as with anything that's 10 to 12 years old this is expected. As far as the factory inspection they did a very good inspection on our first one and corrected things that needed to be addressed.
Here is a link to a fourm that is centered on the F/T brand where all your questions can be addressed Foretravel Owner's Forum -- ForeForums
PM me if you want specifics.
Post a message at the above mentioned forum, you maybe able to get a local F/T owner to meet you at the factory to go over the coach with you.

Foretravel's totally rock. Right up there with a prevost or late model bluebird or other high end bus conversion, but it's not a bus, it's a real purpose built motor home.

Love ours, If I continue to own a motorhome it will be a Foretravel. Great coach, and the factory folks will still talk to you about a 12 year old coach.

Thank you for the imput! I do not know what all the 97 point inspection intails, but I know the one & only thing they found & fixed was a problem with the ice maker. I would beleive the inspection covers all working aspects of the coach in particular any & all safety features. I will let you know what all it covers when I get the report. Thank you 4travlin for the link to the Foretravel Forums.
