2000 Coachmen Mirada - Refrigerator

We are unable to get our refrigerator in our motorhome to run on hydro. When we switch it over from propane to electric the CHECK light comes on and there is no power to the refrigerator. Any ideas.

Going to need some info in order to help, fridge brand ? Dometic , Norcold ? Model number ?
Have you had the vent panel off the out side to test the 110v outlet for power? Have any other 110v outlets that aren't working , checked the circuit breaker panel , any GFICs in the RV that need to be reset?

Husband has just checked all of the items you mentioned and the last thing he is checking are the outlets. Here's hoping that is the problem. Thanks so much for your help. Will keep you informed how we make out.

Good chance the 110v heater is burnt out .
If you can post the make and model, we'll try and get you a manual with troubleshooting guide; if you don't already have one.

Americana, is a line of Dometic, RV , fridge. There should be a model number , on a decal inside the fridge . ( NDR 1062 ? )

More info at the Dometic web site.
RV - Dometic

A search turned up several u tube videos showing tests and repairs ,on these fridges, if you need more help.
