2000 Fleetwood Bounder vs 2003 Coachmen Mirada

I've been shopping for awhile now and i'm seriously considering either a 2000 37' Fleetwood Bounder 36S or a 2003 34' Coachmen Mirada.
I'm a newbie so please be gentle.
Both are within $1k of each other on price. The bounder has 45k miles while the mirada has 35k.

Would love any feedback from folks regarding these models...the good and the bad As far as their size, will i experience many more limitations to where i can go with a 37' vs a 34'?
I will be outfitting whatever model i choose with a full solar kit from GoPower as i will not be spending much time at RV parks. Would love some feedback on that as well if you've done that too!

Thanks so much! I SINCERELY appreciate the help!

Hello and welcome to iRV2. There are a lot of things to be considered when comparing the two... age of tires, maintenance history, condition of roof, etc. If all things were equal, I would choose the Bounder. But not knowing the condition of either coach, it would be impossible to advise you.

Many posters on the forum have added solar systems to their RVs. A forum search (see the box at the top of the page) for "solar" will provide plenty of reading material. Good luck.

The bounder will be a little higher quality than the Mirada. My 2001 Mirada has very basic systems, no frills, no thrills, but everything I need.

Look specifically for water damage, particularly under the exterior Frig vent.

Repairing Delamination and water damage | 2001 Coachmen Mirada 300QB

Repair interior wall de-lamination damage | 2001 Coachmen Mirada 300QB

Also look at the drivers side body/frame attach point. Poke your head in the drivers wheel well and look up where the floor attaches to the wall.

You can look here to see what I found on my Mirada:

Even though they are early mileage (both of them) consider the age of the tires (anything over about 6-7 years should probably be replaced). and the preventative maintenance. I would do complete grease job, brakes, filters, tranny flush, etc.\
