2000 Fleetwood Southwind Strut

I have a 2000 Southwind 36Z MH. We were wondering if anyone is online and knows the length of the struts to the back outside (water bay) compartment.

We are at camping world but the parts dept claims they can’t look up the part. We’re about an hour away from our MH and was hoping to purchase one while we are here. If anyone has the info it would be helpful. Thanks.

I assume you are talking about the gas struts that hold the baggage doors open....

Part # SL-33-60 >> 15" extended, 9.5 inches compressed.

The -60 is the larger doors, a -40 is for the smaller doors.

These can be had for about $10 on e-bay
