2000 harney coach ...trick to start?

I bought a 2000 Harney Coach Renegade 2 years ag0- and it has sat idle. Now want to get it going but starter will not engage. It seems to me something on the dash had to pushed/pulled/turned (while key on start position) in order to start. Need help....was this a factory feature or was start wire split/changed by previous owner? Thanks ! Max001@charter.net

Is the chassis battery charged up?

Is the chassis battery cutoff switch turned to on?

Does the engine crank but not start?

Does starter spin but not engage?

Hi Dean,
The cut ff switch is on, starter does not engage. Am presently trying to trace "start" wire from ignition. Do not have all the wiring schematics, bu another gentleman is sending me a set today. Any input you hae would be appreciated...thanks, Max

If starter spins but does not engage you have electric to the starter. So a description of my wiring would not be helpful.

I do not have any knowledge of a device would cause the starter to engage the engine.

Perhaps your starter needs to be replaced?
