Question 2000 Safari Panther Tail light lens

Hi, Does anyone know how to find a 2000 Safari Panther tail/turn/backup light lens replacement. It is a SAE 88 DOT 1236/37/38 series. They were made by Glo-Brite which is no longer in business. Allied Recreation has none and can get none. I've spent all day online so far with no good hits. Any help would be very welcomed. Thanks, Jim 2000 Safari Continental Panther:

Maybe a rv junkyard.Do a search for used rv parts. There are a few out there but I can't think of them right now.

Glo Brite is not in business?

Glo Brite? Maybe an old page?

Maybe it doesn't matter if your light isn't made anymore?

Have a picture?

Like this?

Tail lights

Thanks for the replies. Yes, old website, no telephone and Allied recreation has no source. The picture was EXACTLY the tail light. In fact, I do believe that is MY coach, at least everything looks identical. I bought the rig in 2009 in Vermont (long story) and my maiden voyage was Vermont to Port Ludlow , Wa. Very interesting 3 weeks. I'll keep searching today and pass the info along. Thanks, Jim

Those are individual red, amber and clear lights.
Which one (color) do you need
Is that the SAE # molded into the lens?
You might try asking here: https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/Safarifriends/info
Or here:https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/...otorhomes/info

I actually need 1 ea of all 3 colors. Yes, the SAE 88 is molded in. Glo Brite 1236 (amber), 1237 (red), and 1238 (white).

I would try Monaco in Eugene phone #1-877-466-6226, I think that is where I bought my Safari ones at a few years ago.

jbettner-

Globe Specialty Company is still in business. Here's a link to a turn signal that looks somewhat like yours. I can't tell without some pictures (back, top) of your lights removed from the coach, or some dimensions. You may want to call them: (773) 778-3300.

The same web page shows an LED alternative with the same dimensions, so if it's the correct light you can change out to LEDs (you may need to change your turn signal flasher to suit).

Hi Marki,
Yes. I tried Globe but have had no email response and the telephone has been disconnected. Monaco has no sources. The link of the tail light appears to be the right lens, but I don't think Globe is in business as well.

I looked around a bit...

There's been a few other threads talking about these lights. Looks like the basic shape is taken from '78 - '91 Blazer/Suburban lights.

A thread about them

If you look on Sacramento Craigslist add# 5300806138 I think you will find all 3 lenses you need for sale, only $25.00 for all three, I would hurry they may go fast.
