Welcome to irv2. I had an 01 35u Chieftain on a Ford chassis that took me to 49 States and 10 Canadian Provinces covering 62,000 miles with no major issues. I would check it out or have it checked out to be sure it has been properly maintained and has good tires. Good luck.

I have the 35U on a Ford chassis. Great vehicle and a pleasure to drive. Only complaint is windshield leaks caused by rust around the windshield mounting area. Solved the leak problem by using a 1 inch wide strip of moisture resistant tape made by Scotch around the top of the windshield black strip. It is hard to tell that it is there.
