Just bought this coach and having trouble firing up the Aqua-hot furnace. What am I doing wrong? It was a repossesion and didn't get any information about it. Any help or informationwould be helpful

It could be that the Aqua-Hot just needs serviced. There are many things that can cause the diesel side not to fire. The most common is that the nozzle is dirty and needs cleaned or replaced. It could also be something as simple as the diesel fuel filter that filters the fuel for the Aqua-Hot is bad and fuel is not flowing.

Find the model number of the unit and download the owners and service manual from here: Aqua-Hot - Manuals You may need to pull the cover off the unit to find the model number. On our coach I can crawl into the compartment next to the Aqua-Hot and pull the cover.

You need to find the coolant overflow tank and make sure the coolant is showing. There is a 120 volt electric element and the diesel burner switch. They should be close together somewhere. If you have hot water then the coolant tank is being heated. The coach heat part of the AquaHot is controlled by the same thermostat that controls the AC.

Repossessed RV... first thing I would do is open your Aqua-hot compartment, on the wall of the compartment there will be a panel with indicator lights for the various functions of the Aqua-hot system... Check the "under voltage" warning light, it will be red. If illuminated, take a paperclip and perform a "reset" on the system. The red light should extinguish and the system should fire up when turned on. Aqua-hot/Hydro-hot is very sensitive to under voltage conditions and will shut down if experienced. And I doubt that a repossessed RV had the batteries taken care of while waiting for a new owner!

The electron controls did not appear on the AquaHot until around '04 so this panel does not exist on the OPs unit.

If the OP is still following this thread:
1. Turn off both the diesel switch and the electric heating element switch.
2. Wait several hours.
3. Check coolant in overflow tank & made sure it's up to the min line. This year of AquaHot uses standard green automotive coolant mixed 50/50.
4. Turn on the diesel burner switch.
5. Go outside at the AquaHot exhaust and listen & watch.
6. The coolant should be cool enough for the diesel burner to go through the fire sequence. If it's going to fire it will. If it does not you will need to do a lot of research or go to an AquaHot tech to troubleshoot.

My 1999 Serengeti and my 2002 Beaver Patriot had this panel located in the burner bay...

I certainly can't dispute what you had in those years but I do my own AquaHot maintenance on the Model AHE100-02s in my Monaco Signature which is closely related to the OPs executive and I'm sure that my AquaHot has no electronic control panel anywhere.
