2001 mountain are issues

I'm new to MHs and am looking at a 2001 mountain are 3095 with 75K miles. Is anyone aware of issues with this MH.

Most of the models rate quite well in the RV Consumer Group list.

Otherwise do the usual checks like look at the date code on the tires, check the shocks, does the engine smoke and other checks.

If not taken care of ANY coach can have problems no matter the make. Get those maint. records!!! One thing I would check if it's a Cummins on a Spartan chassis is the Ball Joints. Newmar had a problem with the boots rotting away creating a problem to the joints themselves. If replacement is needed it's about $2800-$3000. But that wouldn't stop me from getting it if everything else checks out. You can use that as a negotiating tool to get the price down.
