Most Class A coaches have what's known as Salesman's Switches that disconnect the batteries while it's just sitting. These are generally near the door. They are rocker switches. Push up for On and down for Off.

I think you just need to find those switches and push them.

If it's like our 03 Phaeton, there's 2 disconnects in the battery compartement and then there's a 12V disconnect inside on the panel just by the door (redundant if you use the ones in the battery compartment but it's arguably easier to access).

The water pump is probably powered from the pump relay (if you have more than one pump on/off switch). The switch by the panel probably just triggers the relay. Of course, if the switch doesn't work, the pump doesn't run anyway. But you could bypass the panel and rig a temporary switch by the pump itself.
