2002 Winnebago Journey 36DL

Has anyone had any experience with these motorhomes. Been looking at one and wondered if anyone had any advice, good or bad. We currently have a 96 GeorgieBoy Cruisemaster and looking to upgrade. Thanks for any info. Kent

I have owned three Winnebago products A Brave,Adventurer and a 2001 Journey.
All of which were purchased new the only one that gave me problems was the Journey. I liked the coach and its layout but I had major problems lots of them. Central air conditioning compressor, dash air compressor. Alternator replaced three times. Electrical issues with chassis. Hot water tank replaced slide out kept opening while driving down the road. Roof leaks I could go on and on. I kept it for 4 years and traded in for a new Fleet wood Providence. Now I own a 2011 Monaco Knight 40'. I have owned 6 Class A rigs all purchased new 3 DP's and 3 gassers. I have had minor issues with all of them but nothing like the problems I experienced with the Journey.

Our 2003 Journey DL is our first class A, We never had a problem that has stopped us from enjoying our trip. The little things that have gone wrong, I blamed on the age of the coach. Never had a roof leak but I have had alternator problems, which I am taking care of by replacing with a after market unit. We love our coach.
