2002 Winnebego Brave 32V

Hi there, this is our first week in the mh and after exploring her for a few days I have come across what appears to be a winch in the compartment to the right of the entrance doors.
Has any one any idea what this is for?

Thanks
Terry

The winch is the way to close the slideout if the slideout mechanism fails. We had one in our 2001 Brave and luckily never had to use it. There should be info in the owners manual on how to use it.
