I am considering purchasing a 2003 Holiday Rambler M30PBS WRKHRS. As this will be my first Class A RV, are there any suggestions, concerns or information out there to help guide me in this decision? The unit has 10,000 miles on it and the asking price is $32,500. I would like to use the unit to travel with my daughter to the South and get involved with "Habitat for Humanity". Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I would say go for it. I bought mine new off the lot with 10,000 miles on it and paid three times that price and mine was a 2005. I have been happy with my HR as well. I am sure that any and all bugs have already been worked out of that one as well.

Greg From Pittsburgh, welcome to iRV2.com. We are glad to have you join us here and we wish you many happy memories you are about to make. The only thing I would suggest is to make sure that the coach has been properly maintained. If you are buying from a dealer they should perform a pre-delivery inspection; insist on it. Also make sure that any resealing of the roof should be done as part of the deal. If you are buying from an individual you might considerer hiring a technician to do a pdi for you. You may also want to consider replacing the tires as they are probably about due. Good luck and keep us posted.

Hey, thanks everyone for the repleys, I've owned a 93 Dutchman C class for two years and I'm having a blast. I would like to take advantage of the low prices offered right now and pick up something newer and a bit larger. My Dutchman is a 30 footer with no slideouts and it gets a little cramped once in a while. I would also like to be able to winter camp, so my ideal rig would have double pain windows etc. There are so many units for sale right now that I'm a bit overwhelmed by all the choices. I think that I should look for a diesel unit but I'm not sure why. I also want something that I will be comfortable living in for extended periods of time. So.. any input by experienced owners is greatly appreciated.
