2004 Winnebago Adventurer battery?

does anyone know what group number the correct factory engine battery is for this coach ???? thank you

battery...2004 adventurer

a friend told me that the engine battery,under the steps,,is the wrong battery.......he thought it should be a group 72.......the previous owners put the wrong battery into the coach.........what is the correct battery......thanks..........ps....but I put 11,000 miles on the coach with the wrong battery........

Chassis battery is probably the same you would find in any Chevy Truck of that year. Measure the battery tray as the battery cant be bigger than that lol

Although you may not have the same group number battery as came with the motorhome when it was new, if you have a 12 volt battery that starts the engine, you should have no problem, unless it is quite a bit undersized, and wont start the engine, it is not going to hurt anything.

Googling "Workhorse W20 battery" finds many links (including ones here at irv2.com) that say that a group 78 battery was the original battery.
