2004 Winnebago Journey vs, 2005 Newmar Kountry Star

Hi! This is my first post on this site. My wife and are considering the purchase of a 2004 Winnebago Journey or a 2005 Newmar Kountry Star. I would like to have feedback from any current/former owners. Please advise.

I'd say there both pretty good coaches, If you seriously consider the Winnie check this post and make sure you check out the windshield area really good.

I owned a '95 Winnebago and thought it was a good coach. I replaced it with a '04 Kountry Star. I had know knowledge of Newmar before this transaction, what a difference. I will not own another Winnebago, the Newmar is head and shoulders better than the Winny. Of course the chassis and engine can make a big difference regardless of the coach manufacturer. Good luck.

We're glad you found us. There is a wealth of information here so dig around and learn.

For me anyway, there is no comparison, Newmar far exceeds anything Winnebago has ever made. So if the money is right - Newmar every time.
