thanks to you both....it's really my brother's coach which he got only a few weeks ago and brought to NH for his first camping experience....on his way up, the driver side wiper almost flew off, and when he got here and examined it, he found the split spline -- and has been told by a truck store this must be ancient and no way will he find a replacement! His refrigerator stopped working and his steps broke and won't go in.....all were working when he purchased it. He is discouraged!!!! Will try your suggestions.....

Try a magnet on the door sensor for the steps. Works for me when the switch hangs up. I carry one inside the rig.

Truck stores do not work hard for parts solutions. Call AM equipment. They have stuff for my 1995 rig.

I was always amazed at the "small" things I was able to get from Country Coach, I'm sure a wiper arm or mechanism would be no problem for them. I always found their prices to be comparable to other places too, not necessarily the least expensive, but comparable and always the right part the first time.

Boy I know that feeling!! I won't go into it here though as there are other posts I've made about them.
Anyway, there are LOTS of helpful CC owners here. I know I've gotten help from some over the last few months. One or more of them will have an answer.
