2005 Gulf Stream Atrium w/ wiring problem.

I have no cruise control OTR although I can sometimes idle up. Engine brake inop and dash air starts blowing hot & if stopped, turning off A/C will allow Park Brake light to illuminate. Freightliner had her in the bay for $1400.00 worth of diagnostics and found nothing. Apparently can not get wiring diagram so is it possible to call Gulf Stream and speak to someone? This problem smells like a short but does anyone know of a common denominator (fuse panel?) I could look at? We're full time, travel a lot and need that Cruise, I can gear down the mountains. Thanks, in advance. I could take it to Elkhart??? Anyone ever do that and how was it?

Rather than a short, which would perhaps blow a fuse, I'd think it might be a bad ground. Try using a jumper wire and add a new ground from a good under dash source to the ground at the HVAC and the cruise control.

Sounds like all Freightliner chassis related, not Gulfstream house related. Think I'd find a different Freighliner dealer, preferably one of the service centers that have MH techs. Will do no good to go to Nappanee, IN as Gulfstream doesn't have a repair shop.

Good luck,
