2005 H/R Imperial LCD TV Replacement?

Does anyone have any experiences with having a factory installed LCD TV replaced? My coach came with a Sharp Aquos 30" LCD TV installed in a cabinet above the dash. This TV must be one of the first LCD TV's on the market. It has the display unit and an AVC box that is separate. The AVC box is full of the electronics. Now the TV has stopped working.

I am just curious if anyone has replaced theirs and what size of a TV did they replace it with?

I have called Sharp Repair Facility and they want both units removed to do testing and even then some parts are nit even available anymore.

A large reputable MH repair facility that I called said I would be better off chucking the old TV and replacing with a 37" LCD TV.

Thanks for your help - Russell

Russell, Absolutely - No question! Would not sink .05 cents into the old TV.

Thanks for the reply Lloyd.

Thanks for the info. I think I am going to follow that route also.
