2005 Pace Arrow House Batteries

Has anyone had problems with their house batteries. Went camping and first we lost our Air Conditioner then the pump would not work, lights began to go dim and finally on Saturday the refrigerator would not kick on. We are thinking possible converter, but this unit is new to us and it has a lot more gadgets then we are used to. Any suggestions on how to trouble shoot

You short piece could possibly involve three different systems. I suggest that you get a hold of someone that knows about Pace Arrow specifically.

The A/C is powered by either your APU or Shore Power. If that went down and your house bank was bad, that could loose the lights and your reefer MAY require 12V DC like the lights and the potable pump to run at all - or you could be out of LP.

You could have a bad converter and the batteries are just weak enough to stop everything you noted. The a/c need 12 volts to power the stat, the frig needs 12 volts to energize the control board and the lights and pump go without saying. in the control panel, close to where you check the tank level should be a momentary switch to check the house battery voltage. You did not say if you checked ot see that you have 13.6 volts when plugged in. 13.6 is normal when the converter is charging.
if like mine, your batteries are under the entry step. you may want to check the water level and see if you have good connections there also
