2006 Ford 6.8L Vacuum Line Missing

I just bought a 2007 Damon Daybreak on a 2006 Ford chassis. On the drive home the check engine light came on and it started having a hesitation in the idle. Once home I checked the fault codes and got:
P0171 - System Too Lean Bank 1
P0174 - System Too Lean Bank 2
P2195 - O2 Sensor Signal Biased/Stuck Lean Bank 1 Sensor 1
P2197 - O2 Sensor Signal Biased/Stuck Lean Bank 2 Sensor 1

Doing some checking on the internet these codes are indicative of a vacuum leak. So I started poking around. At the back of the intake manifold is a vacuum port that had a small piece of old rubber stuck to the side of it and sucking air. I can not find a hose laying loose anywhere. So either the hose is completely gone and I don't know where the other end of it is, or? I put a blue plastic cap on the port and the idle hesitation is gone, along with the fault codes. My question is can anyone confirm or deny what this vacuum port is for?

I think you should post this on the Ford chassis forum.
