I have 2 pieces of wood that is about 3'x2" and is wrap with the same type of rug in my MH. These pieces came with the MH and when I asked the salesperson he did not know what it's for. Anyone have any idea what these pieces are for? Is there anyone with a 2006 Hurricane out there?

Just a guess.... -would they lie on the floor and keep your slide from creeping out (or in)?

I don't have a Hurricane, but I recall seeing similar pieces used by some manufacturers as slide locks. Are they the right size to be inserted between the slideout flange and the wall as a safety measure against the slideout creaping?

I have a 2006 34N Hurricane and I had the same question when I found those rug wrapped 2x4's. They are for the slides. They go on the roof portion when in.They act as a brace on the livingroom slide. At least on my model they do.

Thank you for idea Troth and Joe-K
I when back into the Hurricane and tried it again with a little more force and it seem to work. So until something else come up I would be using this for the slide. I have 3 slides out and just two of the 3x2 woods that fit only the living room slide out, but not the bedroom slide. The kitchen came with a built in lock that I would press the button and it will secure the kitchen slide out.

Ha, you got a 34N like me. I have a windshield problem that has been corrected ,I hope.Popped out on top corners. Seems there was a glue issue at factory. What leveling system do you have? I have The Equalizer system.

My side windows leak when it rain due to the drainage under the windows being clog. It been corrected, now there is no leak. I have the same leveling system. When I level the MH it feels as if I am in a low riding.
