2006 Raven XL Artic 34 foot Class A INFO!!

I am new to the site. Going to go and look at a 2006 Raven XL 34', Ford v10, class A motorhome tomorrow morning. But I can't find any info on it. Who makes it? Capacities? Specs?

Any help or info would be greatly appreciated.

Is it something that I should stay away from? Are they OK??

I own and operate a Automotive repair shop for 30 years. Self employed. I just can't find any info on this particular motor home.

I may just pass on this 2006 Raven XL. I am going to look at another motorhome also, tomorrow. The other motorhome is a 1999 Four Winds Windsport M-33SL. This motorhome I found a lot of the info and specifications on.

I don't want to bye something that I can' get any info on, or can't get parts for... No matter how good of shape it is in!!

I will keep you guys posted on what I find, or bye!!

Thanks, Paul.

If it is the one advertised on Craigslist it is probably a scam. Forest river made a Raven in their Georgetown series XL.

I'd be kind of skeptical that it is a 2006 model. From my understanding, Firan Motor Coach went out of business --or exited the motorhome portion of their business-- in 1996.

Here is a thread from a few years ago from someone who had just acquired a 1996 34' Firan Raven XL with the Arctic Package:

Here's a video of a 1996 Raven that was being sold back in 2013:

Thanks guys for the info. I talked to the lady today. She is about 1-1/2 hours away. She says it is beautiful , but she has no manuals, or info on GVW, GCWR. So I told her I am not interested...

I went and looked at 6 other motorhomes today at 3 different places. 1st one was a privately owned, one owner, 2000 gas engine.. It was a little rough, outside, and inside. Pretty nice underneath. Passed on it.. Next 3 were at a dealer, a 2000 with a diesel, rusty underneath (passed on it). 2nd was a 2001, gas engine. 1/2 of the outside compartments were broken, windshield leaked, and windshield frame was rusty, (passed on it). 3rd was a 2003 diesel. Transmission was leaking bad, (Passed on it also).

I went to a private used Dealer about a mile up the road. Found two very nice motorhomes. Great shape, top to bottom , inside and out. I am really interested in the 2009 Four Winds Hurricane 33H, gas , with only 16,000 miles. I will be talking to them again on Monday.
