2007 Cat C-9 mileage?

What kind of fuel mileage should one expect with this engine? Of course this has the DPF system and would typically use more GPH. This engine has only 8000 miles on it and so not even broke in. I had been driving around 55-60 mph so as to shift into the sixth gear under the mode option and haven't gone over 6mpg.

Thanks

Mine is a 2005 c9 but I get 7-8 mpg driving 62-65 mph. That is figured using miles / gallons at each fill up.

My C9, no DPF gets 6.7 to 7 running 62mph. I have gotten 8 a few times on I-5 with the cruise set.
