2007 national v10 won't start

I am showing my rv in about 2 hours and it won't start. I just put in a new starting battery with a scissor cut off switch on the neg pole. I know i have power because the stairs work. It won't start, but did 2 weeks ago. Any suggestions?

What does it do or don't do when you try to start it?

it just does the typical sound of a dead battery. Lights up, makes all the noises. It did start 2 weeks ago. But hasn't been moved.

When you turn the key to the "START" position, does it crank?

No crank, just sounds like a dead battery won't turn over. But battery is brand new and shared fully.

Polarity correct with battery hookup?
Horn blow loud and strong, as well as anything else on the chassis battery?
What happens with jumping the house batteries to it, either with the aux. dash switch or with jumper cables.
Is there 12vdc or better on the starter itself and can you hear the solenoid itself clicking?
I had this on our chevy here, while traveling and when in a TX parking lot for lunch. Pulled the starter right there and replaced it with one from auto zone and just up the street a ways. Tested it on the ground and found that it the motor would run, but not engage.
One does get lucky now and then and hopefully you will as well.
