Just my 2 cents worth...from a very similar question, yesterday,

Damon used high quality vendors for all the systems so repair is as close as your local RV service center like Camping World and the like.

The Ford Chassis is a good and reliable foundation and Ford is still making RV Chassis so parts and service are as close as your local Ford Truck dealer.

Damon's moto was "Value by Design" because these models were and are thoughtfully well built and provided a very high bang for the buck...

And, they are very easy to work on for a do-it-yourself type.

I own a Damon (Outlaw!) and love it.

I own a 2008 371PE on the Ford chassis - bought new. The coach has been very good. The selection of sub-components (i.e., transfer switch, converter, etc.) was very good. No failures of these or the Ford components. In 2008 models, Damon had an issue with deterioration of the Captain's seats and couch (in my case) due to inferior covering materials. I recovered mine and Thor worked with me for some compensation. I now have 40K miles on the unit. Rides greats with no wander. Ensure an aligmentment is done - it helps the handling. I added a surge protector and a 5 Star Tuner for better driveability after 32k miles and other minor mods. If you do purchase this unit, I can help you out with an annoying issue (to me) with the heater controls. PM me for other information. JM2¢...

We have a 2008 Challenger 378 not the platinum but on the Workhorse chassis. Have had it for 4 years just started full timing 5 months ago. So far have had no problems shower could be bigger but it works we are getting use to only living in the MH because we sold the SB. We just replaced the front TV from a 26" to a 40" that helps a lot. Also bought a Dyson heater-fan it works very well for heat not using propane during the daytime and doubles as a fan when its warm out.
