2008 Safari Cheetah Power Fault Light

I'm trying to help out the guy in the campground next to me. He is getting a power fault light when hooked up to 50 amp shore power. The readout says AC over voltage. He hears a cycling noise on the inverter. Everything works fine when using generator power.

Any ideas on how to proceed? He's running on batteries tonight.

If you can't measure the voltage at the pedestal (and get site maint involved) I would suggest switching to another pad...

His generator power may bypass the fault monitor so that alone wouldn't check that the monitor is not giving a false "high voltage".
