2011 Winnebago Vista 26QP

Hi, Folks -

I hope I'm asking this in the right forum; I'm a newbie to this site.
I'm looking to purchase my first RV, and I'm looking at a 2011 Winnebago Vista 26QP. However, the consumer reviews that I've read indicate that this unit handles very poorly - and potentially dangerously - in windy conditions.

Safety is of primary importance to me, so before I proceed further, if any of you have experience with this unit, would you please share your opinions about it? I'd really appreciate your help. Thanks much,

Joe

Joe, This is an E450 based rig. It's also a Class-C, not a Class-A, so you might post your question over on the Class-C forum - you'll get more help there.

I haven't driven it, but generally all Class-Cs are subject to being pushed around by the wind. A good alignment with proper caster help a great deal and there are additional aftermarket devices that can be added (safe-t-steer) that can help.

I would be shocked if it handled worse than any other Class-C on the same chassis.
