2014 Coachmen Mirada 29ds Big Slide
Hi everyone, new to forum here trying to solve a slide out problem, a month ago we purchased a 2014 coachmen mirada 29ds, it was in a fair shape with no major issues until today. We were wrapping up our clean up and pulling the slides in in preparation for storage. A CLANK sound came from left side while I was pulling in the big kitchen slide, I stopped pushing the button immediately and then tried to push it out, another clank sound happened from the right side. After that I would push the slide button , the motor will work but no movement what so ever. I looked under the rubber from outside and asked my wife to push the slide button , I can feel the motor running and see a long shaft spinning, the gear on the 2 tracks system is not moving though. So my question is what kind of slide system I have and is there any shear pins/bolts that may snap. Many thanks

Probably an LCI slide mechanism. I have the same model and my rear slide sheer pin broke. What a project, but fixable. Not sure where or how to access the front slide mechanism. There are schematics on the LCI website if you know what you are looking for. Hope this helps and good luck!

This what I found after some digging, in the 2014 coachmen mirada 29ds, the big slide is happijac and the rear bedroom slide is Lippert (LCI). We did not fix the problem yet but there is someone coming out tomorrow, fingers crossed, he will figure it out.

The pin inside one of gears broke. Also the shaft between the two tracks was not looking good. I took the RV to coachmen and they took the slide out of the RV and replaced the mechanism. That was the only solution, nothing is accessible while the slide is in the RV.
