2014 F53 Front wheel bearing bad with 7000 miles

I nearly lost my wheel on the interstate on a 2015 Winnebago Brave. Was left stranded in fort Payne Alabama for 3 days and finally left motorhome yesterday and had someone pick me up. Dealership spent a couple days trying to locate a new Hub, spindles, and bearings which makes me wonder if this is a common problem since parts seem so hard to come by.

Firstly, I hope this chassis is still under a factory warranty.
NAPA shows bearings and seals only for this chassis. Hubs and spindle would no doubt have to come directly from Ford.
Dealers usually have what they call "Vehicle tie up" access to parts within their parts source which should expedite parts delivery. The dealer should be able to get parts overnighted in to their parts department to get you back on the road again.
There should be a toll free number in the back of your owner's manual which you could call and get things moving. Otherwise get online and find owner support for Ford. You will probably have to have some information in hand when you call such as Vin and delivery date of your unit and current mileage.

I'm guessing this is not a new design to the chassis builder.. its been out a while.. I'd bet this was an installation problem at the factory... or something the body builder did to create this failure... Like LETMEGROW I would guess this is under warranty... and will be covered... hub/bearing failures today are very rare with the quality of engineering and machining used in today's vehicles...

Best of luck..

You are the third or forth owner on this site, of late model ( 2015 ? ) F53s with failed front wheel bearings, that tear up the spindles. It's a issue with the factory over tightening the bearings.

Look for your problem in the search window.

Over tightening bearings can certainly lead to premature failure. So can the lack of lubricant. Something was wrong right from the start. I hope the chassis builder can investigate these failures and find a correction soon.
The OP is very fortunate he discovered this before he had a serious problem. Good catch.

My user name comes from LET being my initials. The M is my son's first name initial. GROW is just what it means.
In 2001 I bought 110 acres of land adjacent to my own home. I had used this property for a couple years for hunting. When I became the owner my son and I decided we would further develop it into better habit for deer, turkeys and other wildlife. We have worked for the last 15 years doing what we set out to do. In the meantime we joined the Quality Deer Management Association (QDMA) which encourages hunters to pass on shooting small bucks so they can GROW into larger bucks and pass on better genetics to raise the quality of the herd overall.
One of the QDMA mottos is "Let them go so they can grow". My user name is a spin off of this motto.
