2014 Fleetwood Excursion 33D, will not take deisel , trying to fill, pump turns off.

2014 Fleetwood Excursion 33D, will not take deisel , trying to fill tank , pump keeps turning off ? Help ?

Loosen or remove the fill cap on the opposite side you are filling. Be careful as you can spill fuel out the opposite filler cap.

I remember having this issue early on with our DP, but I quickly learned that turning the handle 90degrees(sideways) helped, no problems since.
(I believe it's also some pumps are very sensitive and others not)
