2014 Thor Hurricane 27K Full Wall Slide

Need assistance! I've search a good bit on the internet and herein but cannot find enough data.

This 2014 Thor Hurricane's full wall slide has only 7k miles on her.

I've noticed slide "creep" in the short hauls that I've thus far done which in turn has allowed water infiltration due to the unloading of the wall to main body seals.

I cannot find slide "locks" any where on this rig.

I've sync'd the motors many times, this has helped but not solved these issues.

Most concerning is the apparent premature wear on the machined slide tracks nearing the closed position. There doesn't seem to be enough gear tooth engagement, both on the length of the mesh area or in it's depth or root.

All four tracks show similar premature wear and "off" tooth mesh engagement.

Before I call Thor and go down that road, I am hoping one of you might have experience in this.

I am much too little to wrestle a failed full wall slide alone in my future and something tells me I need to find correction beforehand!

Thanks!

Since I am not there I wonder if a shim could be installed between the S/O wall and the tracks to engage the gear better?

Go to the owners forum here and check the Thor industries section. There has been a lot of discussion regarding the slide outs.
