We are considering purchasing a new VIA 25P coach which will be our 2nd RV. We will be trading in our ERA 2009 170XL which we absolutely love but will be traveling much more and want the extra space without getting too far from the feel of a smaller Class B. Would like to hear some reviews from owners...pros and cons.

Our best friends and travel buddies had a Via for a couple of years. The limitations are the size of the holding tanks and fuel tank. The limited storage space and the limited CCC. If you can operate with those limitations then the Via is a good compromise coach. It will tow 5k and the mileage will be 12-15 mpg. The coach is not offered with levelers but HWH has a system they build for it.

Thanks for all the good information on the Winnie Via. I'm considering a 2014 "P", which now have asking prices in the ~$80K's. Any further information on long term maintenance issues will be appreciated. /Yogge.

Actually, the Via cannot tow 5K. Yes, it has a 5K hitch. However, when you subtract the loaded vehicle from the total capacity, you get around 3500 pounds. We called Winnebago to confirm our numbers. We have a 4 door Rubicon and at 4500 pounds, we would be about 500 pounds overweight. We went over the numbers with Winnebago and they said the Via is not rated to pull a 4500 pound car.
