2015 Fleetwood Discovery whistling sound

We have an annoying whistling sound we can hear in the cockpit area that we can't seem to find. We have an appointment for this issue but that date is still 5 months out. The faster the speed the greater the noise with the noise almost unbearable above 55mph. Wind will also reveal the noise at slower speeds. I assume it would have to be the windshield, passenger door or driver window. Anyone else have a problem like this or a way to check for it? I was thinking maybe a decibel meter?
Thanks,
Mike

Get a roll of wide blue painters tape and start to tape some for the opening up. Headlight gaps, around the grill, one at a time. It's gonna take awhile finding the noise but sooner or later you'll find it.

After almost a year, and two windows later, we found ours on the driver's side where the firewall and body had a gap. Installed a piece of sheet metal and whistle was gone.

Fleetwood Discovery 40 whistle

I looked a long time to find the whistle in my Discovery and it came out to be at the steps. I eventually took a piece of weather stripping and put it across the top steps and that stopped the whistle.

I would bet it is coming from the front hood opening. Our previous Itasca had this noise, as does our Tuscany. I fixed the noise on the Tuscany by stuffing some foam weatherstrip under the bottom of the hood opening to seal it up, and I put down a strip of smaller weatherstrip along the top edge. It is mostly silent now. It was just air flowing through the small gaps in the front fascia. It was annoying at freeway speeds.

Check for any gaps between the top of the dashboard and under the hood.

Had the same issue on '09 Southwind, it was the windshield seal. As one post said use blue painters tape and see if it stops

Our 2006 Bounder Driver's WS was replaced for a glass crack. Seal and reseal never closed totally so we have had a hooooooot sound which is now a higher pitched howwwwwlll since Duncan Glass added more sealant to try to seal it like the OE one was (no sounds, just a rock crack). Awaiting a NEW GLASS in two weeks!!

SYMPTOM OF NOTE: sounds change or quit according to speed or ambient winds and at medium speeds (30-45) coach rocking on crowned roads makes the hole change size/sound pitch!!!

We had a similar whistle that was driving us crazy. It turned out that our black water tank vent, on the roof, had lost the cap so when the apparent wind "sped up" the whistle would appear and get shriller as we went faster.

A new vent cap fixed it 100%
